Pint at Lakeside. Hazy golden with thin white foam. Sweet aroma, some grape and passion fruit. Taste is wheaty, passion fruit sweetness, citrus. Finish has a little lingering sweetness, light caramel note too. Light body, pretty carbonated. Ok, but one pint is enough.

Poured a very very pale yellow. Foamy white head. The aroma was sweet and fruity but I couldn’t identify the fruit. The taste was again sweet and fruity (I guess this is what passion fruit tastes like?) with a bit of a wheat base. I found it to be a touch watery.

Sample at 11th Ave. First time I have had a Fruit Hog pint of sample without a piece of fruit. Even when they had the wrong fruit I still got a piece on or in the glass. Beer was pale yellow with a good head for a tiny glass. Seems unusual to be so pale when I believe the beer base is the same for all the Fruit Hogs. Light fruit aroma. A bit grainy in flavour with light fruit taste. Not the most dominant fruit perhaps but may beat the watermelon. Long live experimentation.

Pint on tap at Brewsters Oliver Square location in Edmonton. Pours a slightly hazy pale golden color with a small white head and very little lacing on the glass. Aroma is light fruit and wheat. Taste is light fruity sweetness with some malt and light dry hoppy bitter finish. Not the best of the fruit hog series so far.
