Light gold brew with a bit of haze to it, a thick,compact white cap that stays for a long time creating decent lacing. The aroma was not any different than the Wild West (which is the base beer here) except that there is the faintest strawberry. I’m sure if I let this warm mire would have came out. Same thing with the flavour with a hint of strawberry. It is very refreshing. Very good creamy mouthfeel and a lasting aftertaste. Hopefully the next offerings of Fruit Hog actually have fruit flavour in them. Mellow brew. Is the Wild West better now? Might be worth a go.

Pint at Oliver Square. Clear golden with a thin layer of white head. Light fruity nose with light wheat malts in the background. Flavour has some quick strawberry sweetness up front. Slight strawberry tanginess, lots of wheat malt and almost bready notess. Dry finish. Light bodied, medium carbonation. Fruit is pretty subtle in this one, hoping the rest of this series will be tastier.
