Sample at 11th Ave. served with an orange wedge. Lots of fruit flavor in this one. Usual Fruit Hog thick body. Other than change in fruit not much new to say about the Hog. Same beer, different fruit.

Decent base beer with oranges. What more can be said. You can make this at home - get a decent lager and squeeze some oranges into it. Not too impressed.

Pint on tap at the Oliver Square location in Edmonton poured a slightly hazy light golden color with a thin white head and some decent lacing. Aroma is mostly orange. Taste is light malty sweetness and a citrus hop bitterness with a orange zest finish. A pretty good refreshing beer for this style.

On tap @ Lake Bonavista location. Light yellow, hazy, tight white head leaving layers of lace. Aroma is assertively tangerine, more the skin than the fruit itself. Slightly sweaty, lightly malty body with dry tangerine skin in the finish. I haven’t tried any others in the Fruit Hog series, but this was quite good.
