Craft Clerkenwell. Clear amber beer, residual white head. Palate is smooth with fine carbonation. Tiny bit of caramel in the malt. Very mellow hops - mild dried fruits and marmalade, barely there. Dry minerally finish. Passable but dull.

Cask handpull at Wetherspoons, Folkestone. Copper colour with lasting off white head. Aroma of strong grapefruit and hop. Very hoppy for a UK bitter, more like an APA, with glittering floral hop on finish. Some American hops I guess from the amount of grapefruit. Malts show moderate juiciness with just enough balance to carry the hops. Man, what an APA at the end of a long week. Lovely and tingly on the finish. Good grapefruit. Barman? Another one of these please.

Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Dark amber with white head. Hoppy nose but quite a dull body, maybe served too cold or overaged but it was slightly amalgameted in flavour. There was some fruitiness however and a finishing dry hoppiness, I think that it was probably just badly served and I hope to rate again. My 1st Brewsters from the new Grantham Brewery, I’m hoping for better.
