(Cask at Old Fountain, Old Street, London, 3 Aug 2010) Golden colour with brief, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, grass and grapefruit. Fruity, slightly malty taste with notes of citrus, green apples and a generous floral bitterness in the finish. Light body, fairly dry. Nice and tasty with a generous hop character.

Hand pulled at The Swan and Rushes, Leicester. Golden ale with a hoppy/car park stairwell aroma. Dry citrus taste that lingers but very thin and watery. Ok.

BlackHaddock (3598) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 25, 2014
Half-pint at the 2014 Lincoln Beer Festival. Light amber with a white covering of bubbles. The strong floral hop nose carried on into the flavour of this semi-bitter brew. Easy to drink, doesn’t test your taste buds too greatly, but a pleasant blend of hoppiness that sits together nicely and leaves a mini-dry finish in the mouth.

Gravity dispense at the 23rd Battersea Beer Festival - 06/02/13. Clear light golden with no head. Nose carries pale malt, hops, touch of grapefruit. Taste comprises light mango, hops, grass, grapefruit. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, dryish finish. Decent refreshing stuff.

Leighton (10683) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 30, 2012
Cask at Tap East, London. Pours lightly cloudy yellow with a strong, white foam head. Lemony citrus nose, light dough notes. Light sweet flavor, some mellow pale malts, light hay, low bitterness. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Not in top condition. Light sweet finish but in general pretty bland. LIght notes of plastic, some dough. Bland overall; perhaps the beer’s character has been reduced due to poor condition.
