Deep amber orange with a rocky off-white head that creates terrific lace. Sweet toffee aroma with a hint of vanilla and lots of citrus and tropical fruit hop character. The flavour profile is an even balance between the malt and the hops. The hop character is more aromatic than bitter with more peachy fruit nuances coming forward in the palate. Certainly tame by American standards but I dont care. I thought it was great!

Apparently the 2007 version is significantly different than the 2006 version. I never tried the 2006, which I heard was very good. For the amber golden 2007 version I thought the nose was soft and fruity kinda like the orange vitamin C tablets dunked in grapefruit. The mouth continues on with the prevent a cold theme. Of course malt is there too, but I wish they had used a higher quality material. The finish is moderately bitter. I wish my mom had given this beer to me when I was a kid. Oh well, I felt much better after having one of these. Maybe I will several more just to make sure I feel OK.

675ml brown bottle from Oliver Square location. Pours a clear deep gold, small but creamy head with good lacing. Hoppy aroma, piney with sweet orange and malt beneath. Decent hoppy flavour, grapefruit accents with some honeyish malt. Moderate bitterness, some grapefruit hop in the finish. Medium body, very drinkable. Hope it becomes a regular selection.

Pours a nice golden brown with a nice head. Pine hop aroma. Sweetish middle with lingering bitter finish. An enjoyable IPA.

Quite a surprise. Maybe the most hops in an Alberta beer. Competes with Full Moon. Gold colour. Nice head. Strong hop aroma. Full hop flavour with some grapefruit notes. Malt is thinner than in Hop Head. Long building hop finish.
