Pours a copper color with a small tan head. The aroma has berries, cream, and a hint of spice. The flavor is straight forward and simple. Nothing bad here... But nothing great.

Faintly aromatic, reddish brown in colour. Some sweetness, but again, like a lot of these Brewsters beers, it tastes nutty, tinny and watered down.

Drinkable amber irish ale, with hops and bitterness. Fresh and creamy mouthfeel, maybe from the yeast, not overcarbonated this one. Well malted, and a tad roast. Like a cross between a brown and an irish red. Worth a try. Bitter finish and medium mouthfeel.

Pint on tap at Oliver Square location in Edmonton. Pour was pale amber color with small white head and some lacing. Aromas of caramel and not much else. Taste is sweet malt with a slightly sour finish. This was not one of my best tasting experiences at Brewsters.

Bottle, thanks to Cole. Pours clear russet amber, thin off-white head, above-average lacing. Nose is dark fruit, vanilla, sarsaparilla, instant coffee, maybe a little bourbony? Flavours are more instant coffee, vanilla, maybe running to coconut, very tasty and pleasant, I wish they had this down at my local.

Pours Very dark brown. Very thin head. Smells like instant coffee and wet barley. Coffee.. grass. Very malty. Some candy notes in the aroma. Nice beer. Very drinkable. Sweet and malty good but I’ve had better.

Colour was mostly brown with a red hue. Nose: Lots of roasted malt and sweet toffee, also hints of pepper and sour cream. Taste: What’s this? A Brewsters Beer that brags about being "Caramel Accented" but isn’t a sugary mess? WOW! What a relief! Solid cooked malt intertwined with nuts and bolts. You can feel the caramel wanting to breakthrough but it remains a nice accent. Finish is long and crackling with roasted malt.

Amber hue. Sweet scent, almost hints of cherry. Dark cherry flavor. Heavy on the roasted malts. Solid.

Save your money.
Got me a glass of clear brown beer with the standard (but acceptable since the glass is filled to the max) Brewsters zero head. A swish does produce a small off-white crown. The aroma is of sweet, rich malts and some caramel but has an underlying unpleasant sourness. The taste is watered down with weak malts holding up the flavour. Feels empty and thin. My advice is to buy multiple pints, let them warm and then slam them back. Always keep at least 2 full pints on the table.

Overall. Pretty average. Had at the Crowfoot pub. An interesting aroma of nutty cream caramel. Tastewas nutty and leaves an unusual stickiness in your mouth. Medium bodied ale with nothing overly special to offer.
