On tap @ Brewsters in Regina. Dark brown, Amber highlights. Aroma is roast and chocolate. Flavour is the same, with a bit of sweetness, not overdone which is nice. I was going to comment that it is a tad thin, but I didn’t realize this brew is only 3.8%! Knowing that, this actually is quite impressive for a mild ale. Well done.

Pint. Dark with full flavour and light body. Malty, chocolate, roast. A bit hard to be creamy and milky at 3.8% but very nice flavourful session ale.

Almost black pour with small tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee and a hint of chocolate. Taste of roasted malts, faint coffee and faint chocolate. Slightly sweet creamy finish with perfect carbonation, medium bodied. Very good beer.

Pint on tap at the Oliver Square location in Edmonton pours black in color with a small light tan head that leaves only a couple of specks of lacing on the glass. Aroma is roasted grains with some hints of chocolate and coffee. Taste has a roasted grainy and hoppy bitterness with a chocolate malty sweetness. This brew is medium bodied with moderate carbonation and finishes nicely. Recommended.
