Aug 07 Cask conditioned @ Old Silk Mill, Derby. Fruity hoppy blond with sweet malts and tangy orange in finish. Not bad just a touch sweet.

Cask Handpump at the Old Silk Mill, Derby 15/08/2007 Fruit and hop aromas. Golden coloured fruity and hoppy with some citrus flavour. A little dryness in a crisp and bitter finish.

Clear dark golden. Rather flat looking ale without any head. Pretty leafy up front, floral, clearly intended to be hop oriented. Aromatic, but upon sipping, a gentle honeyed maltiness gets revealed. Not too grainy for a change and bearing a nice and confident bitterness.

One of Brewsters ’Wicked Women’ series. Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Dark gold with a small white head. Sweet, soapy, creamy aroma. Sweet malty taste, oddly vegetal and metallic. Plus a bit of orange marmalade. Mid bitter finish. Curious beer, unusual and interesting. In case you’re wondering, Lilith (Hebrew לילית) is a mythological female Mesopotamian storm demon.
