Jul 30, 2006 On the engine at the Maproom! Poured a medium orange/amber with a well-retained cap of beige head. Nose was of pears and freshly-drawn caramel... quite full and pleasant. I really enjoyed the flavor, too... English toffee and caramel base surrounded by pears and other fruits plus tart lemon zest. Surprisingly complex and enjoyable. Woo!

Jun 1, 2007 Bottle. Amber beer with a strong head. The aroma is lightly hopped and very slightly malty, and the flavour is gently bitter with a weakly roasted flavour. Overall a nice lightly roasted and lightly dry beer.

Jun 7, 2007 clear orange with a foamy white head. hoppy, orange, citrus aroma. flavor is hoppy, bitter, tea. palate is dry. nice, clean finish. lots of hops in here. not very english but i liked it.
