Small sample at OSLO and Guerde’s tasting on Friday, 5-23-08. Labeled as "Wicked Women Mata Hari." Pours a copper color with very little head. Malty aroma features dark fruit scent. Dry taste with a touch of sourness. Light body. Frothy and flat in the palate.

16.9oz bottle-pours a foamy off white head and amber color. Aroma is mild caramel, herbal. Taste is light/medium malt-caramel, herbal hops. Mild carbonation. Thanks to jwc215 for sharing.

Pours deep amber into an English pint. Off-white micro head with medium retention coats the surface leaving no lacing. Sour peach and apple aromas. Soft with fruits from front to back.

This is a nice ESB-type. It’s copper with a medium, off-white head slowly shrinking to a wispy top and hint of lace. The aroma is nice grain, lemon, bread, pine, juniper, and a lot of leaves and tea. The taste is earthy, leafy, with tea, bread crust, lemon, hint of yeasty sourness, light sweetness with dominant but light bitterness, esp. in finish, a light nutty and toasty quality. It’s nice, crisp, very easy to drink and with a god depth and range of character.

Pours a three finger cream head that fades slowly, leaving a good lace. Clear amber color but a ton of yeast left in bottle. Light-medium carbonation and light-medium bodied. Sour apple nose. Flavor is strange for a beer, sweet, sour maybe apple, drinkable but that’s it. $4.49 for a 500ml bottle from Manchester Wine and Liquors Manchester, CT

Bottle. Aroma of grains and spice not the beat somewhat musty. Orange color body with white head. Flavor of grains and spice notes. After beer warm abit a caramel presence was there and left a spicey bitter aftertaste on palate. This wicked woman had an odd taste for beer I would say.
