thedm (3405), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Mar 21, 2008 This bottled brew marked F08 129 from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy fine to medium sized off-white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a typically carbonated golden brown colored body and a good lacing. The putrid aroma was musty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of hops and mild spice. Not the greatest by a long shot, but not horid. Just one more that my palate didn’t appreciate and another one I’d never buy again.
Bockyhorsey (1915), Mesa, Arizona, USA Jul 2, 2008 Bottle. Aroma of grains and spice not the beat somewhat musty. Orange color body with white head. Flavor of grains and spice notes. After beer warm abit a caramel presence was there and left a spicey bitter aftertaste on palate. This wicked woman had an odd taste for beer I would say. nearbeer (1078), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jun 5, 2008 500 ml, F 08 date stamp. Cloudy orange-copper with a large bubbly head that flits away. Aroma is spicy tropical fruit bubblegum. Flavors of sour cherry, tart apple, maybe some wheat, spicy yeast, and citrus. Woody, chalky aftertaste. I think this one is past its prime or infected: as an ESB its a failure, but as a lambic/fruit beer it’s not bad. Palate is acidic tingly and dry. JK (2356), Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA May 31, 2008 Orange color. Aroma has malt and some green apple, a little oxidation. Very dry flavor with mild English hops. It might be a little old, but is is OK. OSLO (590), Minnesota, USA May 29, 2008 [Bottle, supplied by JK] Pours reddish-amber with a small white head. Aroma is awful; sickening smells of apple and metal blend together to create something that haunted me into the next morning. Taste is bitter, malt dominant, and also tainted with the apple and metal tastes that the aroma forewarned of. Thin mouthfeel. Really bad and a beer that I can hopefully forget. tennisjoel (685), Shakopee, Minnesota, USA May 28, 2008 Sampled at OSLO’s and Guerde’s tasting
Wicked Women was the label. Might be the coolest thing about this beer. Taste is very tea like. One dimensional. Not much going for it. Did I mention the label was cool? I guess it has that going for it, which is nice.
