Dark amber colour. Sweetish fruity aroma with some caramel. Nothing very distinct. In the mouth, the initial hit is sweet malt, with some hops coming through at the end. Bittersweet finish, becoming increasingly dry. A rather odd and not entirely satisfying beer - the balance is unconvincing. Cask (handpump), Lord Moon of the Mall (JDW), Whitehall, London SW1.
