Cask handpull at Pembury Tavern BF March 2007. Just about my beer of the festival I guess. Pale gold with lasting white head. Rich flowery fruity aroma. Sweet and flowery. I love it very much. Flavourful, flowery and a good pint.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Hazy amber with a tight cream head; aromas of citrus and elderflower; clean with citrus and barley flavours and some honey; then a crisp bitter finish. A really good Golden Ale.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW. Pours clear gold with a small, foamy white head. A pleasant array of light grapefruit, straw and grass on the nose. Flavor is even better, some biscuity malts, sweet and rindy citrus, some peach, florals and modest pine. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Slightly sticky hop finish, nicely balanced, some sugary malts and citrusy bitterness. Very good beer.

Hand pulled at the Rake, London. Delicious hoppy beer. Really nice mouthfeel and freshness. Great length and balance of hop. Slightly short finish, but that is nit picking.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Guest at the Friendship, Fallowfield. Pale gold with lasting white head. Slight haze to it. Floral aroma with a touch of citrus fruit. and a pleasant maltiness. Grapefruit initially with a rounded maltiness and a touch of yeast. Very dry and bitter finish. Quite light on the tongue would make this a perfect summer beer.
