Tap on 11th Ave location Calgary. Malty strong body. Reddish amber. Brittish ESB taste although I heard rumours of a Biere de garde coming. Moderately low level of hops. Good session beer for watching TV.

An okay beer. Aroma is bread and toasted malts with grassy hops and earthy tastes. The pour is dark amber with a limited tan head. Highly carbonated. Taste is sweet malts and some medium alc bitterness. Medium bodied ale with high carbonation and oily texture. The finish is abrupt and bitter. Overall, an okay beer with good malts and awesome appearance with a bitter taste and finish.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub downtown. Dark reddish, with a good white head and lacey. Malty with some hops. Average mouthfeel, decent though uninteresting.
