Tap at Brewsters Alberta. Pours clear gold with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is Pils malt, corn, spicy hops, and clean. Flavor is malty with a clean fermentation character, light hops and bitterness with a dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 presario (4406) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 4, 2013
Not sure if this is a different beer or just a different name. Just stopped in 11th for schooner Monday. First czeched the seasonals list for hops and then went back to main age for choice between this "new" favourite and Rig Pig. Vampire won. A nice crisp clean sharp hoppy easy drinking pilz. Earlier Rating: 4/14/2006 Total Score: 3.3 Softer maltier body than typical for the style. Thin aroma Nice peppery hop body and finish. For a brewpub a nice example.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 DuffMan (5187) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 3, 2013
On tap and in bottles, Lake Bonavista location. I was told by the server that this is a new pilsener recipe. Medium golden, generous soapy white head that laces early on. Grainy aroma with distinct light tropical fruit nuances. Clean pale grains with a firm bitterness in the finish. Crisp and clean. An absolutely spot-on pils, nice hops and really solid bitterness reminiscent of northern German examples. Very very good pilsener. Earlier Rating: 3/5/2007 Total Score: 3.4 Clear gold with a creamy white head generating nice lacing. Fresh biscuity aroma. Deliciously malty with a beautifully balanced hoppy bitterness and clean finish. This is an excellent lager.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Reimer96 (587) - Alberta, CANADA - DEC 31, 2012
Pours a clear golden with a small white top that leaves some sticky lacing. Aroma of earth, grass and yeast with some malt sweetness. Taste is yeast with a nice sharp bitterness from the noble saaz. Easy drinking Czech Pils but could use a little more all around.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 thb (608) - Alberta, CANADA - AUG 7, 2012
Clear golden with minimal head. Aromas show balance of pilsner malts and noble hops - true to style. Crisp, clean, with an ample hop presence and a dry finish. Nice level of carbonation (not too much). Would have again.

This was actually pretty good. Fresh and crisp tasting. Clear golden colour. Well balanced. I’d have this one again.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20 Powertrip (999) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 24, 2012
Single bottle purchased from Brewters Brew Pub on 11th ave SW in Calgary, AB on 02/24/2012. Colour: Medium yellow with low white head. Nose: Immediate mix of marshmellow and toffee, then settles into fresh dough without losing the background of sweetness. Taste: Medium sweet, medium-light bitter, light sour. Creamy and chewy. Caramel comes out with some munchable slightly roasted grains middle to late. Slightly too sweet for its type.

Aroma (5/10): Spicy and slightly earthy. I detected a note of blackberry.
Taste (5/10): Strong hops, lingering bitter finish.
Palate (3/5): Light, fresh, and dry.
Overall (11/20): A rich and fresh beer, although too dry and bitter for my tastes. This is one id like to re-rate soon.
