The Swan and Rushes, Leicester. Excellent leafy hop presence on the snout, fresh resins, strawberry, blackcurrant, dab of cherry. Mouth berry fruit and bitternesss. Red but green. Lean, fruity, well-hopped festive brew. Nice.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Alexandra Arms Kettering. A mid brown coloured bitter with a slightly vinuous aroma but again a bit of dodgy pear notes. The taste leads me to believe it is past its best with fruity alcohol but also a bit of vinegar. Disappointing.
