The best beer I tried while visiting, but that’s not saying much. Very disappointed that I was told they had the dark and a barleywine, and then was told neither was there. I can understand the barleywine, but the dark was something they are supposed to have all the time. What the heck?

I had this a few months ago. Amber pour. Light head. Aroma is malty and a bit of hops. Flavor is pretty malty and a bit thin for my likes, but certainly drinkable.

Boca. Rich copper hue with thick, lace-leaving cream-colored head. Coppery aromas, bright and inviting like English session ales. Some sweet teriyaki. Soft mouthfeel but heavy beer. Sweet malts become cloying. Redeemed by a crisp Cascade finish.

Draft sampler at Boca Raton. Dark reddish brown pour with a moderate white head that lasted. Average sweet toasted malt aroma. Medium body. Solid caramel toasted malt flavor with a small bitter finish.
0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 gatorbeer (148) - Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, USA - AUG 23, 2005
UPDATED: SEP 5, 2005 One of the worst of Brewzzi’s beers which are all bad in my book. Skip these beers, as a matter of fact skip this place altogether.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 nick76 (3583) - Tampa, Florida, USA - JUN 28, 2005
The flavor is a little bit of sweet corn like malt and finishes with some bitter hops. Not too strong but not to weak. The taste is very similar to the Boca Fest.

hoppy... nutty... strange astringent bitterness. something didn't seem right-- i had a bit of trouble finishing this. every beer at this brewpub is served in an iced glass, and nothing was over 4% alcohol... WTF? i liked my bloody mary better. there's good pizza to be had here...
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Blake (396) - Orange, California, USA - AUG 31, 2003
Had on tap at Brewzzi on August 9th, 2003 Probably the best beer I had throughout my vacation to Florida (but that really isn't saying much). Good hoppiness with a nice red color and adequate lacing. The beer has a good amount of alcohol flavoring, despite being only 4.0 and was a nice complement to our lunches.
