Golden colour. Herbal saaz aroma with straw-like malts. Balanced, creamy body. Herbal character and sweet pale malts. Good, easy-drinking stuff.

Tap. clear, bright, light yellow color. White foamy head, nice lace. Aroma of honey, spicy hops. Full flavored, huge rich malt character. sharp bitter finish, hints of white pepper. Finish is more on the hoppier side of the palate. Superb. . 22 Nov 08. 5,4,7,5,14

Pours a clear dark gold color, with a frothy pearly white head. Smelled of mild hops and a touch of some grain and citrus. Pretty basic. The flavor was also fairly bland, and seemed a bit undercarbonated. The hops were noticeable throughout, and left a mild sweetness on the tongue in the finish. Still not a very impresive pils, needs more carbonation and liveliness.

Poured up on tap at the West Palm Beach brewpub deep gold with thin off white head. I get almost nothing out of the aroma. Really nothing. The taste starts with muted thick sweet malts followed by grassy vegetable earthy hops and slightly harsh alcohol esters. This beer was having its moments but overall comes up short.

Poured up on tap at the Boca brewpub clear pale gold with persistent thin white head of foam. The mild aroma has vague malty notes along with some faint noble hops. The taste has a pleasing mix of lemon acidity, grainy malts that move toward a bit of light colored fruity esters. Very nice crisp flavor to start aided by tart citrus hops and some noble spicy hops.

Clear pale gold. Nice thick head and lacing. Spritzy, ginger ale aroma. Some lime. Smooth, low carbonation but a little sticky. Sweetish but not cloying. Some hop in finish but just a whisper, enough to keep me sipping.

Draft... Boca Raton location... Clear, deep yellow lager with a small, frothy, white head. The aroma comes through big with notes of honey and pale grains. Medium-bodied with faint carbonation. Mostly sweet flavor with moderate bitterness. Bittersweet, dry finish.

daknole (5853) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - SEP 19, 2008
On tap at the restaurant. Yellow pour. Medium white head. Server described this as a hoppier Heineken. Not so sure about that. It did lack the stank smell and flavor of a Heine...but it also lacked ANY flavor. Aroma is grainy and lightly malty. Flavor is very grainy, and watery. This tastes like an American macro pils. NOT good at all.
