2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Wakie (612) - Centreville, Virginia, USA - JUN 28, 2007Just a plain light lager really. Nothing too exciting about it. Very reminiscent of Rolling Rock but with a bit more taste and less clean.

Pours a golden clear yellow with little lacing. Notes of cereal and hay. Stellar for a light session beer.

Draught. Pours a crystal clear gold with a thin-moderate soapy white head that lasted through the first three sips and left very little lace. Aroma of bready malt and some hops. The flavor is very light malt and some grassy hops. A biscuit flavor emerges in the aftertaste and lingers for quite a while afterwards. Light bodied. Medium bitterness. Better than most light beers out there.

Not bad for a light beer. The Brick House has some better choices though, so I would recommend something else.

I was really worried about this as it seems to be the general ’Bud Light’ that is often produced by brewers just to stay in business. Then again, my steryotype was wrong about the Brooklyn lager, so I was hoping for it to be wrong here. The Main Street Light was rather light, as the name would imply, but was also rather fruity and sweet. This beer is by no means ’bad’, but it is just your average, boiler plate lager. If you frequent the Brickhouse, try it eventually, if not, save the money, calories and liver on something else.

Not my favorite of their beers but this beer poured light yellow and offered notes of yeast, light malt, and light hops accross the boars. It finishes crisp and clean.

Tap. Clear golden color. Aroma is malty with notes of apple cider. Malty, grainy and sweet flavors. Drinkable and would be a good sub for a lighter styled commercial beer drinker.

this beer is light --that’s for sure. not much to say about it after that. Very boring .
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Dickinsonbeer (5075) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - SEP 5, 2004
UPDATED: AUG 14, 2005 Light blond color with decent head and lace. Fruity and sweet aroma with a slight grainy corn smell. Flavor is also grainy and sweet with some hops in the background and some bitterness is noticed at the end. Relatively smooth and sweet for a blond ale. A good overall light blond ale.
