2009-11-27. Pale yellow with a small white head. Muddle lime and sprite like character in the aroma. Flavour is similar, lime over lemon lime soda, sweetish, citrus sourness in the finish. Average to light palate. Bottle shared by GregClow.

Bottle 341 ml
Aroma soapy lime with white sugar. Its evil and I like it. 5+
Appearance golden colour with honey touch ,lighter fizzy white top.
Flavor and Palate : Think bodied that is noticeable especially on sides. Bitter , raw lime taste that is quiet refreshing. It is simply lime lighter ale with out any gimmicks. Soda radler like.

From February 2010 tasting with blankboy, garthicus, gregclow, jerc and mabel. 341ml bottle shared by gregclow. Very, very pale yellow with no head at all (2-). Sugary fake lime aroma, at least it’s a faint ugly bouquet. Taste of paper, lime cordial and sugar - watery, fizzy, harsh and unpleasantly sugary from the first taste to the annoyingly long cloying linger - suffered in comparison to the Moosehead Lime, but let’s be real, they both suck and should be avoided.

Bottle [12oz] shared with HogTownHarry, garthicus, jerc & mabel -- c/o GregClow. Pours a very pale gold with a small diminishing white head. Aroma of light lime and...not much else really. Watery flavour of pretty much nothing -- some grain and lime, that’s it. Light bodied. Boring as hell, more of a cooler then a beer.

[2604-20091127] 341mL bottle. Very sweet lime candy aroma. Clear, pale white yellow body with a quick bubbly white head. Muted lime juice flavour is watery. Light body. Poor.

Bottle Highly carbonated golden body with a thick, creamy head that fades to nothing very quickly. Pleased to find the aroma has a very natural lime essence, with a mild malt graininess hanging around the edge. Body is crisp and clean, and the flavour features natural tasting lime with a faint hint of beer lurking in the background. This is a perfectly acceptable refresher, just not much of a beer.

Bottle from Greg Clow. Thanks. Pours a very light gold w. a glowing white fluffy head. Nose is somewhere between lemon-lime soda & an extremely effervescent gin & tonic. Also a bit reminiscent of those lemon lime Emergen-C vitamin drink packets. Anyhow, Flavor is a bit of malt but mostly catty lemon lime soda. If sprite/sierra mist was really thick & could get skunked you’d have something along these lines. A bit more malt in the finish but blech.

With thanks I guess to GregClow on his continued evil plan to force us to drink lime beers. Appearance: Very light yellow/straw with a small white head yet quite a bit of visible carbonation. Aroma, quite like real lime actually, unlike some of the synthetic shite we’ve seen in the past. With a dose of grass there too. Flavour: Corn, lime. To paraphrase what GregClow says below: it’s a cooler or refresher - just not a beer.

Bottle from a 6 pack purchased at TBS- Pale yellow pour with a frothy white cap. Nose is grainy, has lime but unlike bud light lime this seems a bit more natural. Sweet grainy flavour also has a nice hint of lime. Again, a bit more natural tasting that bud light lime. Not bad for what it is. Heavily carbonated and somewhat astringent lime finish. I’ll finish the 6 easily.
