Take into consideration this is a lime flavored beer. Against its compitition such as bud light lime, moosehead light lime and big rock lime, this is a much better brew. It has a real flavour of lime unlike its competitors which taste like a flavourless beer with too much lime cordile.

Much better than the big name competition. You know what I’m talking about. Not going to bother with a fancy review here. The difference between this and BLL, this tastes like beer with some lime instead of a lime-ade beverage. Kinda yummy, wouldn’t dink too often.

GregClow (2665) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 26, 2009
Bottle Highly carbonated golden body with a thick, creamy head that fades to nothing very quickly. Pleased to find the aroma has a very natural lime essence, with a mild malt graininess hanging around the edge. Body is crisp and clean, and the flavour features natural tasting lime with a faint hint of beer lurking in the background. This is a perfectly acceptable refresher, just not much of a beer.

Aroma soapy lime with white sugar. Its evil and I like it. 5+
Appearance golden colour with honey touch ,lighter fizzy white top.
Flavor and Palate : Think bodied that is noticeable especially on sides. Bitter , raw lime taste that is quiet refreshing. It is simply lime lighter ale with out any gimmicks. Soda radler like.

Strangebrewer (522) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 19, 2009
bottle. Poured very pale clear yellow with thin receding white head. Lime candy aroma. High carbonation, light watery mouthfeel. Sweet grainy with a hint of lime. Slightly dry finish with a bite. Better than BL Lime but not better than Miller chill, but for the price of this stuff there’s no reason to drink the competition. Still a weak attempt at a "fruit" beer.

2009-11-27. Pale yellow with a small white head. Muddle lime and sprite like character in the aroma. Flavour is similar, lime over lemon lime soda, sweetish, citrus sourness in the finish. Average to light palate. Bottle shared by GregClow.

Bottle [12oz] shared with HogTownHarry, garthicus, jerc & mabel -- c/o GregClow. Pours a very pale gold with a small diminishing white head. Aroma of light lime and...not much else really. Watery flavour of pretty much nothing -- some grain and lime, that’s it. Light bodied. Boring as hell, more of a cooler then a beer.

Poured straw colour, with a ’fizzy’ head. I’ve had Red Baron several times, and for a ’value beer’, I actually don’t mind it. My first time trying their ’lime’. Not a favourite, but I think better than Bud Light Lime. Not quite as ’limey’. Price was right.

Metalchopz (1427) - Quebec, CANADA - FEB 16, 2011
Originally rated September 2009. First off, this one does not say "light" in the title. I was really hoping for the normal Red Baron with a twist of lime (and its full 5% ABV). But no, just a light version of it at 4% ABV. Another brewer that jumps on the light lime bandwagon this summer. Weird thing is that they all come out late in the summer. Anyways, pours a light yellow colour with very subtle haze. The head is white, fluffy, goes down averagely and creates decent lacing. The smell of lime juice is definitely present and the mouthfeel is watery. Refreshing taste of lime juice and water, followed by the corn in the aftertaste. Not much here, but a summer light swiller.

With thanks I guess to GregClow on his continued evil plan to force us to drink lime beers. Appearance: Very light yellow/straw with a small white head yet quite a bit of visible carbonation. Aroma, quite like real lime actually, unlike some of the synthetic shite we’ve seen in the past. With a dose of grass there too. Flavour: Corn, lime. To paraphrase what GregClow says below: it’s a cooler or refresher - just not a beer.
