I rate beers by style. This one has a nice hops aroma and sweet hops flavor along with a light malt sweetness. A good sit down lager.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Strangebrewer (522) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 29, 2008
I love the grassy hop aroma. Clear golden amber, medium sweetness. I could drink it year round.

UPDATED: MAR 28, 2010 Re Rate. New better looking 472ml can. Pours a very pale gold with a large white head. Aroma is actually okay, decent hop bouquet with some corn and straw. The flavour is more of the same with some decent grainy sweetness and far less of the vegetable mess I remember the first time I had this beer that is available so damn abundantly in the KW area. A lot more enjoyable than it used to be though I still resent people around here viewing this as the ultimate in what beer can be. My can was really fresh this time.

341ml Bottle: I must admit, I typically love Brick; whether that sways my opinion or not, I’m not certain. Clear bottle, amber-yellow bright colour with hints of carbonation. Cracked her open and met with significant levels of skunk aroma which set me back a bit (and set this rating back too). Aroma of grains, corn, and hops. Pours well with a good head and bright yellow colour. Made up for everything in the flavour after a long day on the golf course. This was a refreshing day ender that offers a crisp flavour without exorbitant carbonation, which I can respect. Probably not for everyone, but likely my favourite pale lager (an altogether boring style of beer, imho).

This is a good brick beer served at good bars. Of course its not the best in the world but it is in the top 100 of course you wont see me in dog fights with this beer.

The best way to describe Red Baron would be "different". I like it, but I don't go out of my way to buy it. I prefer RB from the tap, but it's hard to find on tap in eastern Ontario. When I do find a nice place with RB on tap I usually get at least one. Sweeter than most, but still pleasant.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 dirkules (629) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 3, 2004
A step up from the Amber... Light hops smel which is the best thing about it. Yellow, tiny head. Small malt taste, like I said, a bit better than Amber.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 wilderthanyou (607) - Guelph, CANADA - JUN 15, 2008
UPDATED: FEB 27, 2009 Pours a pale yellow with absolutely no head. The aroma is pretty faint grain and grass. The flavour is alright, Some malt upfront, corn sweetness, a faint bit of grassy hop, and a malty finish. Pretty standard and boring, but I give it bonus points for being local and good drinkablitiy.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 mmacleod75 (62) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 18, 2009
UPDATED: JUL 1, 2009 Poured from bottle. Light straw color, with medium head, but disappeared quickly. Strong grassy aroma. Smooth taste with some sweetness. No hops at all. Another ’value beer’, but not a bad one. If you want something very clean tasting with no aftertaste at a reasonable price, then I’d say try it. If you want more of a full flavor, then avoid it.
