2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 italarican (1046) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 11, 2013
Can. Clear dark golden pour, medium off white head. Mild aroma with soft biscuit and caramel notes. Mild caramel presence with graininess and slight diacetyl.Thin, crisp body with soft caramel and buttery finish. Slight grassy hops presence, but this is surprisngly malt heavy... heavy being a relative term, of course.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 blankboy (5151) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 30, 2013
Can [473ml]. Pours a slightly hazy golden-orange with a large foamy white head. Aroma of diacetyl, caramel malt, grassy hops, toffee and grain. Sweet flavour of honey, caramel malt, grain, some alcohol and a light, dry, bitter finish. Average bodied. Not really digging this at all, too sweet and a bit of a mess.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 asheft (2264) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - APR 29, 2013
[can--thanks probstblueribbon!]
Creamy aroma with lots of brown sugar malt, lemon notes, and some herbal and slightly grassy hops. Almost clear amber under a persistent quite cover and ring. Sweet malty brown sugar flavour with nutty and faint lemon accents. Bitterness is a bit subdued and the finish is not quite dry. The latter would provide a nice balance to this beer. Medium body, moderate carbonation, nutty and faintly sour finish.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 whitecap (283) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 19, 2013

2.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 1/20 Papillon (323) - Sudbury, Ontario, CANADA - APR 18, 2013
473 mL Can. Deep gold body with a one-finger foamy off white head settling to a tenacious film leaving foamy ribs as it is sipped. A fresh fine pastries is the first part of the aroma that titillates the beer taster before noticing the light sweet malts and pungent earthy hops. Light sweet malts with a strong companion of medicinal herbs; intriguing yet put off with a fast-invading phenolic aftertaste, not bad but not that likeable. A long subtly minty finish. Sensational in all facets except Taste. Verdict: not graduated.

Pours golden amber with thick foamy head. Aroma is caramel, bread and fruity, herbal hops. Medium bodied with slightly more than average carbonation, Taste is bittersweet - bread, herbs and a touch of wood. The finish is pleasantly dry and lingering.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 gramity (1055) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 22, 2012
Dark gold in colour with fairly strong carbonation. Aromas are of heavy sweet malts, booze, and caramel. More sticky sweet malt in the mouth, along with berry fruit caramels, and whole wheat bread dough. Heavy bodied with a long finish in spite of the carbonation level. Seems like a simplistic overly sweet oktoberfest to me.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 VT (796) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 5, 2012
473 ml can from czar, thanks mate. Pours a hazy orangeish pale golden with a nice, resilient white head. Taste is caramel, woody, fresh vegetables, touch of fruit. Some cereals. Finish is herbal bitterness, well-balanced, not so strong. Dry cereal, sweet. Average body, average carbonation. Not the beer of the century, but good nonetheless.
