Papillon (382) - Sudbury, Ontario, CANADA - APR 18, 2013
473 mL Can. Pale gold body with a 1-finger foamy head settling to a thin but tenacious layer leaving foamy ribs on the glass as it is sipped. Aroma of light sweet malts with pronounced notes of yeast and bread crust, and grassy / resiny hops. Sweet light malts with a lemon hint dominate in the flavor, a sharp lemon /grapefruit rind aftertaste, and lemon rind tapering off to its outer peel in the finish. A summer picnic beer.

Was not disappointed with this brew. Goes down smooth with little aftertaste. The hops are present, but not overpowering. Will purchase again, but not on a regular basis. MB

bottle. Poured clear gold with a nice laced white head. Sweet and crisp grainy aroma. Light bodied, creamy carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Flavour of cereal grains with a bready malt touch, lemony hop note. A nice pils.

Metalchopz (2666) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 17, 2013
Part of the Waterloo 2013 Spring pack at the LCBO. Pours a yellow straw colour with a foamy white head that gives out dirty lacing. Mild cereal grain malt nose with just a tad of Saaz hop. The hop appears a little more in the taste, adding a spicy bite to it at the start and finishing on the malt, lingering a bit. Nice crisp, medium-bodied brew that is pretty refreshing. Quite a nice Canadian pilsner, that does not have the rusty hop that most European Pils have.

A very palatable pils that pours clear light gold with a moderate white top and good lacing. Aroma is straw and bready malts. Taste is light and easy drinking with a light malt profile. Would like to see it more pronounced. Still good just not exceptional.

Clear golden classic pilsner. Frothy white head. Crisp malt wheat flavour. Refreshing beer. Little sweet. Enjoyable beer.

473 mL can. Pours a clear straw with a huge puffy white head. Clean, malty nose with cereal, lemon, honey and gentle hop aromas. Sweet but crisp with a touch of hop bitterness. A real quality pilsner.

part of the seasonal 6 pack; pours nicely decent head that lasts saaz hops aroma but not as much on the palate; tastes similar to many Euro beers (Gosser etc) way better than the run of the mill "macro" brews, drinkable just not memorable

(Rating #5610)

Can 473 ml
Aroma: Noble hops provided German Pils vibe. Fresh, herbal, grassy with golden clean malts behind. Solid.
Look; poured with thick white snowy, lasting cap. Good rings on glass. Below - slightly hazed golden brew.
Palate/Body/Taste: soft textured, grassy with slight apple tartness. Tad thin of walls. Aroma promised more but it’s not bad. Soft Keller like in feel. Was this intended? Positively surprised by Brick.
