Sample at Primo’s Deli. The beer is a dark brown color with a medium tan head that recedes gradually. Strings of lacing. Aroma of roast malt and slight hops. Light body with flavors of grainy malt, chocolate and mild hops. The finish is slightly roasty with a short chocolate malt aftertaste. Just average overall.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a nearly opaque black/red colour with virtually no head. Aroma notes of plum, coffee, weak coffee, and some raisin. Tasting notes include toasty malts, toffee, coffee, roasted oats. Not bad, I remember trying this years ago and was not impressed. They must have changed the recipe, overall a good beginner beer for those stepping into the craft beer world.

Sometimes it is what it is....flat brown pour, sweet malts, light bitterness, overall easy drinker. I think the Brewmaster can try to make a better version of this beer by his hand.

Bottle in cleveland, a dark lager, nothing to say here, it was light and refreshing with some tones of barley, but that’s it.

Looks dark, tastes light. It’s Ontario’s favourite dark lager. A dark beer that is slowly brewed with Canadian grown malted barley, specialty coloured malts, imported hops and pure cultured brewers yeast. Dark lagers are enjoyed all year long,
