1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pours orange amber with a white head. Aroma is all malt. Taste is malt and grains† with very little bitter.† Not a bad beer but not that remotely resembles an IPA.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: JUN 18, 2016 If you call this tradition. Golden pour, fast fading head. Biscuit malt in aroma and taste... none of those darned nasty hops detected. Sweet and refreshing and all, but if this is your tradition please keep it to yourself.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Can from the LCBO. Clear copper colour with a quick fading one finger white head. Nose is mostly malts with honey and biscuit and just a hint of floral hops. Taste follows the nose with a moderate honey and toffee sweetness and only a hint of bitterness. Mouth is quite light and thin with soft carbonation. Not much else to say.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap @ Red Rock Canyon Belleville. Pours a clear amber with a small off-white head. Aromas are sweet malts, honey, and biscuit. Tastes are similar but less sweet than the smell would imply, likely because of a mild hop presence. Thin and somewhat watery, short and mild acidic finish. Not an unpleasant beer but in no way resembles an IPA. If anything, it's an ESB.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
A very sweet, malt dominant beer. Less "IPA like" than Keiths. Not offensive, but also not an IPA as we know it today.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Can. Dark brown body, a bit hazy. The aroma is nice and hoppy, with some sweetness to it. The taste is weird, itís more like a brown ale than ipa. Thatís quite weird. Not even the finish has hops.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can in Toronto. Very weak looking and tasting IPA, clear and light. Mild hops, rather washed out.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Pours a like yellow color, not much head, smells more of malt than hops. Moderate carbonation
More of a slightly hopped standard pale ale than a true IPA. Itís better than Alexander Keithís, but thatís not saying a lot. Hardly any hops at all, and more malt. Donít get me wrong I like malt balance in an IPA, but the hops should still be in the fore front. More of one of those cheesy "session" IPAs than anything, but not nearly as refreshing. Not the worst beer Iíve had from this company though.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Can from LCBO. Overall this tastes like a malty ale. Aroma of malt, earl grey tea and biscuits. Color is copper clear, foam head, pretty stable. Taste is malt, earl grey tea, a bit sour in the back, watery and leaves a sour walnut lingering aftertaste. No hops detectable in any way. A strange recipe. Not an IPA at all.
