3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
very lightly hazy gold, not much white head, lacy. nose has a touch of grainy mustiness, but is mostly air. flavor is spicy, with strong belgian yeasty sweetness, which becomes more prominent as beer warms, peppery/musky. medium bodieid, musky finish. most flavorful (and probably impressive) of the beers currently on tap at brickstone.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap: Nice clear amber body with a decent head that engaged in solid Belgian lacing. It’s got an aroma of caramel, orchard fruit, a drop of honey, and a mild earthy bitterness. The hops keep the malty sweetness from becoming cloying, making this a well balanced, tasty brew. Sessionable.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
From Growler. Certainly a good standard amber ale color. Rich, malty smell and a good caramel malt taste, just about equalized by bitterness. Well worth stopping for. Others may not think as highly of this, but I note how much the place has improved since they opened. This will still show room for improvement in the future, I hope.
