Cornfield (4255), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Sep 18, 2007 Tap: Nice clear amber body with a decent head that engaged in solid Belgian lacing. It’s got an aroma of caramel, orchard fruit, a drop of honey, and a mild earthy bitterness. The hops keep the malty sweetness from becoming cloying, making this a well balanced, tasty brew. Sessionable.

Drnk_McDermott (1537), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA Sep 16, 2007 From Growler. Certainly a good standard amber ale color. Rich, malty smell and a good caramel malt taste, just about equalized by bitterness. Well worth stopping for. Others may not think as highly of this, but I note how much the place has improved since they opened. This will still show room for improvement in the future, I hope.
