Brickstone Blondie Ale

Sampled at the brewery. Pours golden with a white head. Lightly malty nose. Caramel with grassy and herbal hops. Sweet sessionable flavors. Malty smooth, drinkable with a touch of hops. More balanced and smooth than their pilsner.

From the tap, this poura a deep golden body with a frothy white head that laces nicely. It’s got a sweet, pale malt aroma temperd lightly by a mild herbal bitterness. Nicely balanced, sweet to drink, and quite sessionable, it finishes on a soft, grassy/herbal bitter note. Pretty good.

From growler. Growler seems to have gotten warm, so there’s a bit of sourness. But it carries a warm, malty beer smell. The color is just this side of amber, under a thin head. Taste is otherwise smooth and malty, but not overly sweet. Light fruity ale notes.
