3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Braudog (4606) - Hampton, USA - OCT 17, 2003
Yellow and musty, yet cripy and bitey. Citrusy but not overly sweet. An OK American Wheat.

Hazy gold coloured body with a thin white head, served with a lemon. Aroma of citrus, cleaning products and coriander seed. Very light wheat taste with some citrus and coriander seed freshness. Aftertaste very clean and subdued. Overall, not the worst since it has such a mild taste, but it could use a LOT more! I sampled this beer on draught at the Bricktown Brewery in Oklahoma City, OK on 17-November-2005.

On tap at the brewery. Poured a cloudy straw color with no head. Spicy grainy smell. Light to medium bodied with a thin watery mouthfeel. Has a tart, wheat malt flavor. a light, refreshing taste despite the watery mouthfeel. Served way too cold. Tasted better as it warmed up.2004

On draught at the brewpub, called a "weizen" on the beer menu. Poured a dense pale straw color, well-carbonated, with a light body. Light wheaty flavor and slight citrus character (after removing the lemon slice). No Bavarian yeast characteristics, no clove notes. Crisp finish though and actually OK.

(Tap) All I can say is thank God for the lemon. I’m pretty sure that is the one reason this beer had a little bit of flavor. Very light, with light malts and a grainy character. This is just as much a pale lager as an American Wheat, in my opinion. Extremely disappointing.
1.7 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 mattcoats (47) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - APR 3, 2007
A watered down version of a decent wheat beer, this like all of the other beers by Bricktown Brewery had no aroma and no body. This is one of those wheats that tasted better AFTER the lemon.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 kreepindeth (405) - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA - JAN 7, 2007
Most common beer at the brewery. I don’t know why people but lemons in it, it already tastes like it was made with them. Rampant sour lemon notes and very watery, thin mouthfeel. Not very good, even for an American wheat.

(On tap) Very unclear pale golden with a small, white head. Vaguely sourish, citrusy nose. Very light-bodied without any single trace of malt. Accents of citrus in the flavour also. Dry finish. 210306

I like wheat beer’s, but I must say that I was not impressed with this one. I would not recomend even trying it.

Draft at the brewpub: poured cloudy yellow with a medium sized meringue like white head. Too much head to get any aroma out of it. Very light yeast flavor with some citrus. Kind of an old stale refrigerator nose and flavor coming from this. Not good at all. Big carbonation also.
