[Tap] Pours a dark shade of brown with a small amount of brown foam on top. Roasted dark malts in the aroma. Some vanilla and a nutty character as well. The taste is of roast, light cocoa and crisp hop finish. Lingering grainy notes in the finish. Average mouthfeel and carbonation levels. Finally a beer with some flavor!

One of the better beers offered by bricktown brewery. Balanced with a slight leaning towards maltiness. Lemon/citrus/sour notes not as common as in other brews.

Sampler, rated from 2001 notes. Well, they describe it as "medium," and so it is. A pleasant session beer, nice brown body, medium finish, not a lot more. But that's no sin in itself, and there's room for improvement. Give it a try.
