Draft at the brewpub: although I only had a small taste of this beer from mjames, I feel qualified to rate it. Poured light copper with a smallish white head. I didn’t get the aroma until after Mike drank some of it. Then the butter came out. And what a mess. Big buttery flavor with a touch of sweetness which does indeed make this an English Butter Toffee Ale. Nasty.

A buttery mess. Has a clear orange and copper body with a fairly nice looking frothy. Nose is sweet butter and some grains, disasterously bad. Flavor is much worse. The best thing I can say about this is that it tastes like "fresh" butter. Horribly made, sour from infection... yet this is how they make all of their beer. Palate is rough and fizzy.
