UPDATED: AUG 31, 2015 Bomber. Aroma is chilies, wet river rock. Pours slightly hazy orange with a medium white head that falls into a ring of big bubbly foam fairly quick. Taste is fresh green chilies, very mild heat, finishing with a light bitterness. Body starts out fine but thins out pretty quickly. Nice chili beer, I wish there was more heat though.

22 oz bottle- Pours dark hazy golden with a white head that reduces. Aroma is strong chiliís, fresh from the garden, sweet and tangy, but all pepper spice, love it! The taste is all of the flavor of a chili, without the heat, but the flavor is awesome, i personally would have loved the heat, but this is tasty. Other flavors are some grass, maybe wheat, light sweet malt, but mostly pepper. Body is a bit thin, carbonation is pretty low. Nice and tasty.

As advertised. Pours light brown, huge head. Aroma of chilli peppers and malts. Taste is chilli peppers and beer. I thought I got a little spice on the first sip, non since. Its interesting, not sure if it?s a big bottle worthy one, as it?s not quite a drink that much beer. Good for what it is.

22oz bottle picked d up in Leavenworth. Pours out a muddy straw topped with a white head. Nose is green chili peppers and some tart sour notes. Taste is more of the green chili peppers and some odd sour bitterness at the end. Pretty odd.

UPDATED: FEB 15, 2015 Draft pour at Frankies pizza. Pours a cloudy golden color with a green chili heat aroma. Pepper flavor is there, but no heat really. Tried this a few times now, and it keeps getting better. Good stuff.

Very, very nice. The choice of base beer -- blonde -- was probably meant to accentuate the chiles, which it does nicely. Iím quite familiar with Green Hatch Chiles, and the flavor here is exactly that -- along with a dollop of welcome heat.

22oz bomber - 10oz thinned Allagash glass - $5 at QFC supermarket.
In short this beer is full of pepper flavor and aroma but no heat. Itís really fun that way. The underneath beer is slight sweet biscuit malt. Very clean otherwise, the underneath malt is present but subdued. Fun beer, Iíll probably buy again.

Draught at the brewery
Hazy amber color. Nice dusty aroma of green peppers. It has the lean and lightly sweet malt base of the Blond Ale, with just light chile touch; a bit dusty in the final.
