3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask conditioned at The Turf Tavern, Oxford. Dark chestnut with tan head. Quite a sweet nutty beer initially with a milky, lactic side note and yes, sweet chocolate. Sugary but reasonable.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Very dark red with a thick creamy off-white head. Medium to full bodied with light roasted malts in its aroma and taste with some dryness in its texture with some chocolate evident in its aftertaste.
