Cask (gravity dispense), St Albans Beer Festival, September 2007. Pale gold colour, slightly hazy. No head. Plenty of cascade character here I though (in UK terms). Flowery aroma. Strong grapefruit presence on the palate. More tart than bitter so the mouthfeel is not particularly firm. Otherwise, very tasty for a 3.6% beer.

Cask@St. Albans BF. When a beer says that it has cascades in it, i want it to actually taste of cascades, not just have a slight hint of it. Grainy pale malt, something dusty in the mouthfeel, with not much cascade in the finish. Boring.

A Mes rate: Gravicask at St. Albans Beer Festival. Very bright golden yellow colour with a slight head. Floral and hoppy, really nice hoppage in fact, a little tangy, chalky feel. Bitter yet creamy finish. Decent stuff.

Cask gravity at St Albans BF 2007. Hazy gold, thin beige head. Cascadey golden beer, a little chalky in mouth, floral cascadey aroma. Nice up front, disappointing in mouth, but it has got nice leafy nettley hop.
