Cask conditioned handpump Slug & Lettuce Leicester 13/03/14. A copper coloured beer with a white head. Light berries and parma violets. A little chalky. Interesting fruitiness but doesn’t really do it for me.

Cask (handpump) @ NWAF 2013, National Winter Ales Festival, The Venue, Sheridan Suite, Manchester, England.

Clear medium red amber color with a average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, fruity, berry, wood notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, malty, berry - fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130124]

NWAF 24 Jan 13. Mørk gyldenbrun. 0 skum. Grei fruktig aroma: Søte plommer & aprikos. Smaken litt tynn. Tørket frukt. Litt syrlig ettersmak.

On cask @ Coach and Horses, Dronfield - Red body, white head. Nose of rich fruit and malt. Sweet resinous body, with a stewed fruit taste. Nothing remarkable or offensive.

Shared with Finn at The National Winter Ales Festival. Cask, half pint. Fragile bubbles at the top of a yellow-golden body. Moderate smell of citrus. Fruity hoppy taste, hints of resin. Mid-dry, subdued bitter endnotes. Very ordinary (Manchester, 24.01.2013).
