Cask (gravity dispense) at the Bricklayers Arms Yorkshire Beer Festival, 25 February 2010. Not that strong but higher ABV than the normal stout so definitely a different beer. Very dark red. Looks black at first glance. Milky chocolate and slightly roasty malt aroma. Good mix of chocolate and coffee in the flavour. Almost has a sweetish, oatmeal feel. Rich, but quite roasty, firm and relatively dry mouthfeel.
