3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
This one poured a darker amber color with a small off white head. Aroma was of caramel, light toast, berry fruits and not much else. Flavor was a bit thin and water for this type of beer, typical caramel and light toffee notes with not much else going on. Not offensive in any other way either though.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
22 oz bottle aged at least one year: Pours reddish orange with little head. Aroma of sherry, raisins and mollasses. Taste is sweet and bitter, simple. Thin and slight cardboard. Slightly oxidized after one year under good storage conditions. Too sweet overall and alcohol is well masked.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bomber courtesy of Jstax. Thanks! Pours a nice hazy amber with an off-white head. Nose is earth, toffee malt, some red grapes, and some strange bitterness. Flavor a mix of sweet malt, old nails, metal, peat, and some weird, astringent bitterness. A blend of very strange flavors in a weird beer.

Bottle. Thin light tan head on a murky dark copper brown. Candy sugar, red apple sweetness, caramel, and slight booze in the aroma. Toffee with some bitterness like peanut brittle sans the peanuts, sugary caramel finish, some minerals as well. Medium sticky body. Meh

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pour out of bomber, thanks to Aaron for the WV tick! Dark reddish brown pour with thin to no white head, aroma brought notes of boozy caramel, toffee, hints of slight grass, bitter caramel that I get from aged hops, some slight earth, pine in there as well. Taste is sweet toffee, caramel, biscuit, bread with some weird grass and old hops, finshing with some booze and some slight cardboard.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle @ Dan’s house. Hazy, reddish orange appearance with a tan head. Rich earthy, piney, boozy, caramel, dull papery aroma. Boozy, papery/cardboardy, veggie, old shit, tangy fruity flavor that’s tough to drink. Not very good stuff.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a 22 ounce bottle into a brandy snifter. Dark brown, murky beer with a khaki colored head of foam that started small, but stayed the length of the beer. Aroma has a thick, sweet, caramel, nuts, and leather component to it that made for a nice sipping beer. Not much in the way of hop character aside from a dryness in the finish. Nothing over the top, but a nice finisher to the evening.
