Aroma has a decent amount of ginger but buttery malts come through and it gos all wrong. Taste is similar like the ginger is there and i really like ginger, but the base that its been put upon is rubbish. I just dont like bridge of allan beers and what with the brewery having its name changed again, why doesnt he just call it a day.

Cask, Cellar Bar, St Andrews. Cloudy orange with a thin off-white head. Nose is strong ginger, with some balance of hops. Mouth initially is ginger, but then an overwhelming taste of gravy that lasts. Beef gravy. Palate is thin, but chewy. Interesting, but not pleasant.

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Oxford BF. An orange gold coloured beer with adecent amount of ginger in both the nose and taste to change the character of the base beer. That beer is a pleasant malty lightly hopped one which serves to compliment the ginger well so the beer is never over spicy or sickly.
