maeib (4141), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England Apr 20, 2008 Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel Northampton. A blonde beer with a white head. The aroma has some fruit and some sweet soapiness. There’s a wierd sweet taste also, with elderflower notes. Didn’t know this had wheat in it. Maybe that’s the wierd flavours I found, but it didn’t seem to be wheaty to me. MesandSim (4713), Highgate, Greater London, England Apr 20, 2008 A Mes rate: cask at the Bon Accord, Glasgow.
I think the Bon Accord need to pay a little more attention to the condition of their beers. And going off this one, their selection too... In all honesty this was bloody awful. Tom has been generous with his notes there as all he wrote down was:
"CHEESE TITS"
I’m quite happy to go along with that...
(As a description of the beer obviously, I have no requirement for cheese on my moobs.) Magicdave6 (4153), London, Greater London, England Apr 1, 2008 Cask in the Bon Accord. Again not in good condition, however this was not a hot beer to start with. Aroma is slighlty iodiny wheat and over ripe fruit with old cellar edge. Taste is similar, its just a mess of a thing, not good in any way. cgarvieuk (2797), Edinburgh, Scotland Mar 3, 2007 Golden amber in colout, with a golden hoppy dring mouth feel, light fruit bitter with medicinal edge,
