FrankJohansen (2807), Sabro, Denmark Jan 27, 2008 Bottle. Dark brown colour with a nice beige head. Aroma and taste of sweet malts, dark fruits and licorice. Nice palate. Mes_and_Sim (4476), Highgate, Greater London, England Dec 26, 2007 A Sim rate (cask at Pig’s Ear BF): Apricot, peachy cream aroma that’s subtley sweet. Disappointing amber colour with no head or lace. Very very artificial butterscotch in the flavour. Sweet cream again in the finish. KnutAlbert (2313), Oslo, Norway Dec 17, 2007 Cask at Pig’s Ear BF 2007.
Rather dull. Some sour fruit - cherries, rhubarb, but it is not complex enough. Enjoyit (1105), Vadum, Denmark Sep 30, 2007 Deep brown of color with a beige head. An aroma of dark fruits and liqurice. A flavor of liqurice and dark fruits - a bitter finish.
