Allen (644), Wölflinswil, Switzerland Dec 20, 2007 Bottled 50cl. It pours a deep amber beer with a small slightly tanned head. Caramel, raisins, toffee, sorbet with a smoky malt character. Notes of eucalyptus. Milky, toasty with a generous amount of peaches. A great nose. The taste is smoky, wonderfully smooth with hints of peaches, eucalyptus, toffee.... Biscuitty, smoky, simply lovely. Milky, medium bodied with a hint of ginger. The finish is of peaches, ginger and pepper. Nicely smoky. A wonderful beer. shintriad (697), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Apr 8, 2008 Caramel and lots of it in the nose, a bit of plastic and sour flavours at first, some burnt notes and licorice in the finish.
