A nice pseudo Saison style with a blend of tropical hops and peppery saison flavours. The pour is a cloudy, hazy golden yellow with a massive foamy white mess of a head. The nose is multi faceted with a pale ale esque tropical and fruity hop aroma and a traditional peppery and earthy saison backbone. Light toasted bready malts and honey sweetness are also noted in the aroma. The mid palate has a mild toasty bread malt with a hint of lemon zest and overly fruity notes. A mild bitterness pervades the flavour profile into the finish. Moderate spice flavours with pepper and coriander on the finish give a noted Saison style flavour. This beer has a very unique flavour and as an experimental beer this is a tasty blend of a pale ale and a saison.

330mL bottle. Pours cloudy pale gold with a big fluffy and persistent white head. Wonderful aroma of earthy yeast, fruity and floral hops and some sweet malts. Fairly bitter with a mild sweetness and some citrus. Light body with a fuller mouth feel, lively and quite creamy carbonation and a long finish.

Bottle - 500ml.Beautiful, cloudy blond body with a thick, lasting white foamy head. Fresh, sharp hoppy aroma with coriander and citrusy hints. Alcohol is very well hidden. Its sharp hoppy taste carries coriander, citrusy, yeasty, and some grainy notes. Ends with a long, dry, robust bitter/herbal finish. Wow!

Lite jästig, mycket citrus. Hade lite svårt för smaken. Känns lite som ölen inte själv vet vad den vill. För ljus och lätt i kroppen.

330ml bottle at home. Appears hazy straw yellow in the glass with a large pillowy dense white head. Aroma has earthy yeasts, straw, peppers, tangerines and apricots. Taste is quite sweet and fruity at first before a soft spiciness and dry hop bitterness takes over. Medium bodied with a slick texture and high drinkability. It is sweeter and fruitier than a Saison Dupont.

Small bottle at Cardinal. Hazy golden body with an inch thick frothy white head. Grassy, flowery gooseberry spicy saison yeast notes on the nose. Meaty, gooseberry hop juice in the mouth; still, more complex due to the yeast. Medium bodied. Nice spicy yeast notes opening up as it heats. Pretty good stuff. Quite soft in the mouth.

Bottle, courtesy of - and shared with - Maltmisjonen; cheers man! :-) Pours a clear pale golden body with a big foamy white head. Nose is sour lime peel, straw, bubble gum, hints of lemon and grapefruit. Taste is tart lime tones, straw, citric peel and some herbal-grassy notes in the finish. Moderate bitterness, medium body and carbonation. Much more on the saison side than its Nøgne Ø counterpart, which leaned more towards the IPA aspect. I think it lacks the freshness I got in the NØ version and also a bit on the taste-dimensional level (very citrusy but very little else is going on) but its still a pretty nice beer.

330 ml bottle, will soon be available at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7.5%. Hazy golden colour, huge white head. Lovely fruity and mildly peppery aroma of saison yeast and hops. The flavour is medium sweet, distinctly spicy / peppery and hoppy with some fruity notes. High drinkability, very enjoyable.
