Bottle. Yeast, grape and hop aroma. Hazy golden body with tall & frothy lasting head. Flavor begins very crisp and dry with notes of spice, yeast and hops. Slight fruit finish followed by a hoppy bitter aftertaste. Very unique and better than what I imagined it would be.

What a genius idea this is... LOADS of frothy head and body from the Belgian yeasts. Supported by citrusy, hoppy, grassy, IPA bitterness. Smells amazing. Tastes even better.

UPDATED: JUN 5, 2014 Bottle. Murky orange. Aroma is tropical fruity, citrus, yeasty. Lots of citrus and tart yeast flavours. Incredibly refreshing. More of a tart IPA.

Bottle. Moderate grain and straw for the malt, moderate grass and lemon zest for the hops, moderate barnyard for the yeast, with hints of damp wood and coriander. Head is large, frothy turning rocky, white with wispy yet crusty lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is murky yellow/amber. Flavor starts moderately acidic, then finishes moderately acidic and moderately to heavily bitter. Palate on the lighter side of medium, watery with a lively carbonation and a very dry and lightly tart finish. A nice puckering Saison.

0.33l bottle @ Crowbar. I so love this aroma.. In the glass this is a light cloudy kinda golden light orange one and it has a nice big super lacing white head with great retention. As I mentioned, I just dig this aroma some much. Its just so brett infused, hoppy, fresh and amazingly inviting. Grassy hoppy with sweet saison-peachy fruits and it just smells really good. Tastes great as well with a bretty both semi dry and semi sweet flavor. It feels light oily in the mouth and it has an just above average carbonation level. I get a dry hay like flavor here, lots of funky almost bretty saison yeast. Lots of grapefruit bitterness and citrus. There is also a kinda stingy almost peppery burn on the tongue here. It ends with a light dry mouthfeel and leaves your wanting more. Still, I definitely prefer the other version, but glad I got a chance to try this. 17.10.2013

Appearance: golden color, whote head with a moderate retention. Aroma: distinctive earthy saison aroma, fruity hoppy addition, citrusy. Taste: bittery sweet, bitter aftertaste. The bitterness is very moderate and balanced though. Palate: moderately to very dry, high attenuation typical for the saison style. Overall: a very nice beer, interesting taste and flavours, lives up to my expectancy.

Pale, hazy yellow color, great froth head. Fruity aromas, orange, kiwi, grapes, apple and yeast, also a little funk - great, refreshing and promising. Hops are grassy, very dry, while yeast adds a warm freshness to the beer. Beer turns bitter in the end, as the hops stay on the palate, while yeast is vanishing. Bitterness defines the long aftertaste. Still, as fruity as the beer promised to be, hop turns out to be grassy, a litte pine, goes along with bready malts. Decent complexity, due to the yeast and subtle malt backbone, warm freshness, and earthy bready notes. Mouthfeel is very dry, but pleasant, as the beer is well balanced. As the beer warms up, lime notes become detectable, which fit great into this beer. Hop bitterness kicks in like a razorblade, but gets immediately feathered by the yeast, putting the beer into balance.

On tap at Super Whatnot. Quite an interesting beer, slight salty aftertaste with a smooth mouth feel and bitter yeast flavours. I liked it, dont know if I could drink it all day but a beer well worth a try.

Poured from bottle. Slightly hazy yellow color with white head. Aroma of cloves, phenolic. Thin body, oily texture, lively carbonation. Ballance towards bitterness, which lingers in aftertaste. Very pleasant hoppy bitterness.

Bitter hopfiger Antrunk. Wenig grasig, die Bitterkeit ist deutlich intensiver als der angenehme Hopfen. Sffig, bitter getreidig, passend trocken. Herber werdend, die Hopfigkeit nimmt etwas ab. Wrzig hopfiger Ausklang. Gut! 10/11/12/11/11/11
