Appearance: golden color, whote head with a moderate retention. Aroma: distinctive earthy saison aroma, fruity hoppy addition, citrusy. Taste: bittery sweet, bitter aftertaste. The bitterness is very moderate and balanced though. Palate: moderately to very dry, high attenuation typical for the saison style. Overall: a very nice beer, interesting taste and flavours, lives up to my expectancy.

UPDATED: JUN 5, 2014 Bottle. Murky orange. Aroma is tropical fruity, citrus, yeasty. Lots of citrus and tart yeast flavours. Incredibly refreshing. More of a tart IPA.

Pours pale amber with a small head. Nose shows abundant amounts of tropical fruit with passionfruit, pineapple, grapes, peaches, etc, etc, etc....... Underneath are big spicy notes and soft clean malt. Similar fruit as flavours, before transitioning to sweet light malt. After that things really dry out as the hops and spicy characters return for an aggressive finish. Carbonation seems a little full-on. Really captures both styles.

330ml bottle. There’s a great big fluffy white cloud of foam that is well packed and consistent. The body is a murky haze and the beer is a sunshine yellow colour. The aroma is mostly citrus hops with some fresh flower scents also coming through, a fair bit of zestiness in the nose. There is also a big hop punch in the flavour and you get a slight alcohol warmth in the back of your throat. Refreshing and easy to drink, maybe too easy given the alcohol content. Perfect beer for a warm summers day. It is good to see Australian brewers collaborating with others world class brewers.

Spicy bubblegum hop nose. Smooth body - just about bang on for carbonation. Some bubblegum and phenols with a good galaxy hop finish. Some lemon sherbert there as well. Really lovely. Glad I got to try this - only wish I could get some more! Cheers volcanicbeat!

500 ml from Shenanigan’s Wine and Spirits. Big carbonation. Nice hoppy aroma (Citra?). Dry saison body. Lemon and some tart. This is a pretty interesting mix of IPA/saison. Would go well on a hot day. Very nice.

Draft at Blue Dog. Pours hazy dark straw with off-white head. Nose is heavy hops, funky yeast, florals. Tastes hoppy, with yeasty malt, tropical fruit, and a floral finish. Complex and delicious.

500ml bottle pours a hazy golden color with a finger and a half of white head that settles to reveal some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrus and yeast. Taste is a lemony tartness with some citrus bitterness and a light fruity and malty sweetness. Medium bodied with some good carbonation lending to a nice mouth feel. A very well done saison that would make any beer connoisseur proud.

Bottle at Schouskjelleren. Splendid saison aroma. Fruity, yet dry. The dryness is perhaps a bit overwhelming, I’d like slightly more fruit and funk. But it’s a fine beer.
