4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Big hop flavors, citrus, tropical fruit on top of a velvety sweet malt base that keep everything well balanced. Little dangerous at 8.5% and being so smooth and easy to drink.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Orange/gold pour with a tight white head; similar in appearance to the bling but a bit less carbed. Tropical fruit aroma, pineapple, passionfruit, and malt underneath. Taste was a bit understated - I was expecting a bigger version of Bling, and it was that, but the bitterness was a bit underwhelming. Sweetish, overall fairly good, but just missing something

Very malt dominant - not enough hops for me - try Garage Project Pernicious Weed for a hoppy but not ball-tearing imperial IPA.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours dark orange with a slightly tanned white head. Very sweet tropical aromas, largely of pineapple and grapefruit and some caramel sweetness. Excellent malt backbone to balance the hops. The best description I can come up with is a ’sticky’ sweetness. But this makes it delicious. Fruity, citrus and pine tastes also. A winner

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
First that element that strikes, no second - the label is a stand-out, is a strong wave of pineapple. And then underneath are the hops. Like the taste it isn't overly affected by the extra buds but has the citrus foundation. A pleasant initial on the tongue with orange and nice finish that gently lingers. A great IPA that doesn't throw a mouth grenade.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours dark amber with a small beige head. Nose is sweet and tropical with some sticky toffee. Plenty of pineapple in this. A very resinous and pine driven brew, but missing that finesse or punch to make it very good

Bottle 330ml @Beer Hunters
Clear red color, small off-white head. Some citric hoppyness, a bit berryish aroma. Medium-bodied. Citrus, some fruityness but overall a bit dry. It’s a bit over 3 months old bottle but feels like could be freshier. No bling bling found.

33 cl bottle @ Leijuva Lahna, bottled 12.06.2013
Sweet and fruity aroma with caramel and mango. Flavour is sweet with caramel, exotic fruits, juicy notes and toffee. Quite heavy and a bit too sweet, not bad still. Reminds me of Nøgne Ø #500.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
330ml bottle @ Leijuva Lahna, Helsinki
Bottled 12.06.13 - Pours dark orange with a smooth white head. Aroma of sweet caramel, syrup, fruity hops and citrus. Taste is sweetish, malty and caramely with notes of syrup and loads of fruity bitter hops. Finish is malty, caramely and sweetish with some stingy bitter hops. Pretty hoppy, but perhaps a bit too sweet for my taste. Quite similar to Nøgne’s #500, but not as perfectly balanced.
