3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Gramoit (60) - AUSTRALIA - MAY 23, 2012
Pours copper in colour, with a small head that recedes into a thin film. It is a fairly malty ipa, with hops taking a back seat but still influencing the taste. A fairly sessionable ipa. Overall it is a good brew but would like it to be a little more hoppy for my tastes, but one I want to have in the future.

Pours amber with an off white head and a grassy, sweet caramel malt aroma. The flavour screams a mix of hops and im trying to pick them all out.. Amarillo?.. Centenial.. Regardless its very tasty and i.m impressed. great work bridge roads very well balanced.

Wow, this beer really packed some hop punch! Great big hit of fresh hops straight up to let you know what you’re in for. A good malt flavour balances out the hops and keeps the beer clean and well balanced. On tap @ the Wheatsheaf, Adelaide.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Jessop (126) - AUSTRALIA - APR 12, 2011
The best BRB beer I’ve tasted so far. It sports a pleasing deep rich colour although with a average head today. I also tasted a degree of malt heaviness out of proportion with the usually heavely weighted hops componant the style should boast. Despite this, this beer drinks remarkedly well with a slight astringent finish

Lucky Vics. This is one of the better Australian pale ales. Not quite top rung - suffers marginally from the usual problem of being malt heavy, hop light - but hoppier and better balanced than most. Cloudy bottle-brown with an enduring head. Crystal malt-heavy nose - toffee, wine notes, canned peaches and faint passionfruit. Nice, thick mouthfeel. Caramel chews, mint leaves and pine on the tongue. Nice finish. Bit too sweet, as Australian pale ales tend to be. Another 10 IBUs and this would go on my ’regulars’ list. Streets ahead of most of the pale ales on local shelves. (330ml bottle)
