Hazy gold pour with a long-lasting head.
Aroma is very malty with toffee, honey and resinous and peachy hops. Very appetising!
The flavours are less impressive, thereís some nice toffee notes but the hop character is unpleasant and slightly metallic.
A little thin, especially seeing how malty this is.

Stubbie. Over carbed? This bottle forthed over for ages upon opening. Had been sitting in an esky for quite a while so i dont think it was shaken up. Anyway... Hop aroma is fruit and melon but not that potent compared to the US pale ales enjoyed the same night. Medium bodied mouthfeel and good hop bitterness. For some reason to me it always seems as though Australian versions of the US style are underwhelming. They never have the richness on the palate or the hop explosion. Are Aussie brewers to scared to brew this for Aussie drinkers? Dunno...

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours dark amber with a large and lively white head that lasted nicely. A good malt driven backbone with tropical fruit, passionfruit, grape and some caramel sweetness. Earthy notes come through at the end as well. Very well balanced. Quite an interesting flavour that results in a tasty APA. Another solid beer from Bridge Road.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Good body, nice mouthfeel and decent hoppy finish. All in all a good, solid APA. There are a few better versions of the style in Australia, but this is still pretty good.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Slighty hazy copper with nice white head. Distinct hop aromas. Sweet fruit flavour and as pointed out earlier a burnt malt characteristic that I quiet liked. Slightly astringent bitterness afterwards the only downfall for a very decent APA. Very fresh and earthy, well done!

Murky orange colour with a dirty head. Rough citrus falvours with some metallic notes. Abit rough around the edges but not too bad.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle. Poured a vibrant orange colour with no head. Very cloudy with lots of sediment floating. Think I got a dud bottle - lots of dark muddy sediment stuck to bottom of bottle when finished pouring.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours orange/amber with substantial cream coloured head. Aromas of citrus and apricot dominate with some caramel and toffee malts. Palate is much of the same. Bright, slightly sweet fruit appears early before caramel and slightly burnt malt take charge. The finish brings malt sweetness and some grainy malt.

Poors cloudy gold with a strong white head. Smooth, almost rubbery aroma. Taste is rubbery, hoppy and a little bit of peach or passionfruit. Nothing special.
