3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pale brown pour with a healthy cloud of sediment. Hoppy aroma profile with both local and Pacific Northwest characters that donít overpower each other: passionfruit, citrus, mango, and a pineyness that seems to cut through as it warms. Light toasty malt beneath, but this is a hop show. Bitterness is medium; a touch less than its Little Creatures/Sierra Nevada brethren. Well attenuated and nicely carbonated. A contender for the best pale ale in the country. Very nice!

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This pours with almost no head at all. It is a caramel colour and has hints of caramel in the taste. This is not too hoppy for a pale ale however it has a bitter after taste.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
From a 330ml bottle on 12/7/2011. Pours a slightly cloudy golden, with a big head. Has a nice fruity aroma (esp passionfruit) with some yeast and bubblegum notes. Flavour wise, itís a little less involving - just a bit of fairly non-descript fruity sweetness, followed by a quite decent hop kick. Not a bad drop.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap. This is a great APA. Aromas of grass, and grain. Flavour is long-lasting, and predominantly bitter. Velvety in the palate, and medium-bodied. Amber colour, with a creamy long-lasting head.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours with a small average white head over a cloudy red gold body. Aroma of grapefruit and passionfruit. Subdued/modest piney-citrus taste. A full bodied-oily mouthfeel.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours hazy golden, white head. Nice fresh hop aroma - citrusy lemon.
The flavour follows suit with a clean body and zesty hops. A very to-style APA: tasty and refreshing.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: DEC 24, 2011 Bottle. Pretty cloudy pour with visible sediment. Orange, large off-white head that fades. Grassy hops and cantaloupe nose with some dusty sweetshop aromas. Big late-hopping attack, followed by fruits. Not quite enough malt for balance and slightly bubbly mouthfeel. Could use a little more bitterness at the end, too. But nice stuff - it seems like an expression of the style rather than something thatís been tinkered about with to get a result. [3.3]
Growler. Nice aromatic hops, but less to back it up. Mango, guava, oranges, again dusty, again could use a little more bitterness. Refreshing.
