Carb was decent but acceptable. Nice aroma but I didn’t get the citrus hops finish. To me it was piney, which is not my taste preference. Needs a re-taste.

Pours hazy deep golden colour with thin white head. Very hoppy aroma of grapefruit, flowers and a little caramel malt. Light to medium bodied. Feels quite smooth along the palate. Some caramel sweetness on the tongue and not as much bitterness as the aroma indicated. Short finish. This one has a lovely aroma and goes down smoothly, but lacks a bit of a punch to the finish.

Pours a hazy yellow. Fruit hop aroma with a hint of lemon. Light to medium carbonation with a grape/citrus flavour that is balanced by a sightly dry finish A very drinkable pale ale with less hoppy astringency than some. Like this a lot.

Blond color, creamy head. Fresh wonderful fruity aroma, yellow jam. Weak body, simple malt profile, with good fruity hopping, and very light astringency in the final.
Best of lawn mower beers.

Borefts warm up at Bier Temple, Amsterdam. Clear pale gold beer. Light dry palate. Very floral pale ale - elderflower, white flowers and a nice contrast of lemon citrus. Semi dry minerally finish. Good stuff!

UPDATED: NOV 10, 2012 Draught @ Beer Temple. Clear golden color, medium sized thick white head that’s fair lacing. Smell malts, lightly metallic, a slight sour hint. Taste malts, yeast, a slight sourish influence, slightly bitter, slightly hops. Hmm don’t really like it. Low to medium body, medium carbonation.

Tap @ Beer Temple. The pour’s deep gold with a medium white head. The nose is mango, sea salt, some pineapple tropical sweetness. The taste is much the same, mild sweet malt presence. Light dusty chalk. Light body, biting carbonation. Overall, nice work!

Rating from way back in late 2008 haven’t seen it since in the west!
Too eager to get out the glass. At just on cool it foamed once the cap came off and poured a head strong, hazy and floaty ridden, proteined up Summer gold - definitely a ’pale’ ale. The head just all anger and foamy carbonation that persists and laces well. Bright hops on the nose; juicy, sweet and fresh fruit punch with underlying burnt sugar, rye bread and floral notes - nice. A gear change on the palate - why does my fruit taste of wood. Overly woody, dry, piney ; a little state forest in flavour. But then there is the ripe melon of the ever present finish to balance. A hint of pale nuts and grass add a depth. All this from a light bodied ale that is light on in the carbonation department. (33cL, no date stamp)
